The all new Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG is the ultimate sports hatchback on the market. An unparalleled level of performance and technological sophistication sets the W 176 apart from the main competitors. The new AMG M133 TURBO powerplant with a total displacement of 1,996 cmc fully deserves big applause and apraisal from world experts - clearly, this is one of the engines of the year. 360 hp at 6,000 rpm and 450 Nm available between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm tell a beautiful story about the capabilities of the petrol unit. 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.6 seconds, while the top speed reaches 250 km/h (electronically governed). The all new, updated E-Class lineup will be showcased by Mercedes-Benz in less than a week at the first major auto show of the year: NAIAS 2013 in Detroit. As the Limousine and T-Modell relatives, the recently previewed Coupé and Cabriolet variants lead the quad-headlight design into a new era, thanks to intelligent lighting technology based on LEDs and outstanding inner lamp graphics. The revised C 207 and A 207 models impress with their sophistication level. The beautiful styling, which applies elements of the latest philosophy, could not be complete without an array of special technical measures that look to improve safety, efficiency, dynamics and communication aboard the new cars. Most of the "Intelligent drive" technologies come straight from the 212 siblings and include the latest iteration of the COMAND Online, the new DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist, BAS PLUS with Junction Assist, the enhanced PRE-SAFE PLUS and the 360-degree Stereo Multi-Purpose Camera System. There is a also a wide choice of powerful petrol and diesel engines to pick from. All of the units are highly efficient and equipped with the ECO start/stop system. Six petrol engines are available ranging in output from 184 hp to 408 hp and there are also three diesel engines ranging from 170 hp to 265 hp.

SPY: The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Limousine (W 205) scooped in the Arab Emirates and Spain

The future generation C-Class continues the development phase, as photographers spot test prototypes in Spain and in the United Arab Emirates. Europe is a normal location where you would most likely be able to see Mercedes-Benz pre-series vehicles, but the Middle East is certainly one of the destinations suitable for extreme, hot weather testing session. The camouflaged 2014 C-Class featuring in the video was probably returning from the remote, desert area of the country and was entering the extravagant city of Dubai on the highway when filmed.

The new premium mid-class range from Mercedes-Benz will be gradually released starting spring 2014, when the limousine variant celebrates its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, 7 years after the introduction of the current series. Closely after the sedan, the T-Modell (wagon) version will follow in the course of autumn. Towards the end of the year, the C 63 AMG models with V8 BITURBO power will join the lineup, whereas the Coupe and the all new Cabriolet variant are expected to debut during 2015.

SPY VIDEO: The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series in action on the Ring - SPEAKERS ON !!!

The hardcore SLS AMG Black Series comes this autumn, being the fifth chapter of this hardcore motoring saga launched by the Affalterbach firm in 2007 with the former SLK 55 AMG (R 171). The tweaked gullwing makes use of the 6.3-litre aspirated V8, which was modified to deliver 660 hp for intense sensations and ultimate performance. Lately, a spy photographer managed to record the furious 2-seater while it was completing a set of high speed testing laps on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Enjoy the mindblowing sound of the grumpy 8-cylinder orchestra! :)

LATER UPDATE: No such gruesome experiment as a 4-door SLS AMG Gullwing is coming in the future, as officially stated by AMG chief Ola Källenius in a recent interview. Though we cannot guarantee some eccentric tuners won't give it a try someday...
