Vitamin A by Amahlia Stevens, the brand often referred to as the "LBD, little black dress" of swimwear and known for effortlessly chic bikinis and cover-ups, receives the distinguished title of "Mercedes-Benz Presents" designer, showcasing her collection on Friday July 20, 2012 during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim located at The Raleigh in Miami Beach.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim will take place in Miami Beach, Florida at The Raleigh from July 19th-July 23rd, 2012. The "Mercedes-Benz Presents" program continues to recognize designers that demonstrate dedication to the use of quality materials, unique style and innovative design. Vitamin A by Amahlia Stevens joins a prestigious list of "Mercedes-Benz Presents" designers that have been given this mark of distinction. Past Presents designers include Hervé Léger by Max Azria, Red Carter, Monique Lhuillier, Badgley Mischka, Trina Turk, Narciso Rodriguez, Naeem Khan and LUXE by Lisa Vogel.

A native of Laguna Beach, Amahlia fuses her Southern California lifestyle into her swimwear designs by creating the ultimate shape. Her ubiquitous "California Cut" has evolved into a full resort wardrobe of swimwear separates. Her laidback luxe pieces are a little bit 70's, a little bit minimalist, and have attracted an A-list clientele including Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Leighton Meester and Jessica Alba.
